The internet can do something better than anything previously known - provide mass amounts of information to masses of people. Unfortunately, there is as much bad information being distributed as there is good information. We strive to accept courses only from instructors who are very knowledgeable in their field.
The lack of a physical classroom is actually an advantage - you can learn at a pace you are comfortable with because you set the schedule. Unlike traditional education (even online traditional education) there is no schedule so take a week, month, or year - it's up to you.
Because there is no schedule to keep, there are no time constraints on the length of each lesson and they can be much more involved or detailed than a physical classroom situation. For example my basic in person basic candle making class lasts 5 hours, yet my full basic course will take a minimum of 30 - 40 hours to complete and impart a much better understanding of candle making.
